An answer is only as good as its question!

First-time clients frequently ask me what kinds of questions they are allowed to pose for or during a reading. My stock answer is any kind. It might seem obvious but the question asked should be the one for which the client desires an answer. In my book nothing is or should be off limits. To be sure, intuition and clairvoyance are limitless tools. As such, we shouldn't limit how we apply them to this aspect of our lives while shielding that area from them. But as with so many things in life, there is more to it than that.
When I was training to be a lawyer, I remember learning how to prepare questions for witnesses. I thought that it would be a piece a cake - nothing to it. On the contrary, it was one of the trickiest aspects of law school. Asking a question is, as I came to understand, something of an art form. I used to draft my questions only to have the professor dismiss them and insist that they weren't what I really wanted to know. I had to appreciate that one first had to consider the answer that was being sought.
In short, what I had to learn was that an answer is only ever as good as the question asked.
To illustrate my point, I turn to perhaps the most famous example of a question being put to a psychic. It look place in 560 B.C. when King Croesus approached the Oracle at Delphi in Ancient Greece. He had been contemplating attacking Persia and needed some psychic insights.
The King's question seemed simple enough on the surface: "What will happen if I attack Persia?" Equally, the answer appeared very straightforward when the Oracle said that "If you cross the river, a great empire will be destroyed." Well, there it was - he had his answer. He would be victorious. Right? Wrong! Croesus crossed the river and was decisively defeated by the Persians!
Croesus had asked the wrong question. He didn't really want to know what would happen if he waged war with the Persians. What he wanted the Oracle to tell him was whether he would win. But that's not what he asked. The answer he received was correct - a great empire was indeed defeated. Unfortunately for Croesus, it was his own.
So, when putting a question to a psychic - be it to me or to any other out there - consider your question long and hard. Make sure that you're asking what you really want to know. It's true that you can ask a psychic anything, but make it count. Consider the answer you are seeking and then formulate an appropriate question.
