Liquid Mind III: Balance
I discovered the music of Liquid Mind a few years ago when I was looking for a CD to meditate to. And what a discovery it has been. All too often when you try to meditate or engage in any relaxation techniques to music, the music becomes an active participant rather than an unobtrusive bystander.
The music on Balance, the third release from Liquid Mind, is peaceful and serene. It knows its place and respectfully remains in the background. It’s soft and ethereal without being spooky or sounding like something from outer space. And because there are only five songs, each track is nice and long, allowing you to float away in a sea of calm without any sudden changes.
Balance is elegant, sophisticated and at the same time extremely subtle. Whether you’re looking for something to meditate to, to read to, to drift off to or something to simply calm down to after a hard day at the office, I highly recommend Balance by Liquid Mind.
Several years down the road and Balance is still on the top my relaxation play list.
