Timing - Sometimes it's not up to the psychic.

Last week I had the reading that psychics live for. My client was a woman from America who was a successful corporate executive looking for guidance in light of some recent events she considered substantial setbacks. The reading started out just like any other, but then it changed quickly and dramatically when I linked with her great aunt who passed to spirit when my client was at university.

The link was strong and the evidence was coming through. I was able to give my client facts - names and dates - that she was able to validate. But that wasn't all. It became clear that Aunt Claire had been watching and guiding my client ever since she had crossed into spirit. And she had lots to say.

In some no-holds-barred messages, Claire addressed my client's current work and financial crises. Nothing was off limits. And while some of what Claire had to say wasn't the easiest to hear, my client considered it very valuable especially when Claire offered insights about what the future held.

I was able to pass on details about the radical changes in store for my client. And then, the question came - When? Of course, I was prepared for it as it always pops up after a prediction. But this time it was different. Usually, I get either an exact date, a number of months / years or at least a strong feeling for a season in which something's going to happen. Yet, this time I got nothing.

Up to that point, it had been the golden reading. What had happened? The bases were loaded and I was ready to bring everyone home, and then just like that it was as if I struck out.

If timing is everything,
how can "when" stump the psychic?

Increasingly, we live in a now culture. Letters have been replaced with text messages. Meals that used to take hours to prepare can be ready in minutes. And journalists now broadcast live reports at the scene of military conflicts and wars. So, we shouldn't be surprised that this need for instant information gratification has spilt over into psychic readings.

In a reading, you can glimpse around the corner. But you might not get an exact time that you will turn that corner. Fixing a time for future events can be daunting even to the most talented and experienced of psychics. And if it's not coming through, I for one won't force it even when faced with a very demanding client. After all, I'm a psychic not a magician.

Some events are fixed more than others. The train has left the station and is already making its way down the track. However, for other events, the future is fluid and flexible. In my experience, when timing doesn't come through it's a signal. It's an indication that it's entirely up to the client to control the timing and that at this point it is to volatile to establish.

Believe it or not, the future is up to us! We control our own destinies, our own fates. And whether a reading comes with a prediction of things to come next year, next month or next week, it all comes down to our actions, decisions, choices, beliefs and opinions.

So the next time a psychic can't tell you "when" take it as a message that it's completely up to you. You can dictate when it will happen - or whether it will happen at all!
