Step aside Sun — Jupiter's in town!
Last week a friend of mine rang in quite a state. You see, he'd been seeing this woman for well over a year and he'd finally decided to pop the question. A lot of arrangements had to be made as he was going to get down on one knee after whisking her away for a surprise weekend on a romantic island in the Caribbean.
Flights had been booked. Bungalow reserved. And suitcases stealthily packed. I imagine troops have been sent to foreign conflicts with less planning.
Everything seemed to be running with military precision. Then, as he does every day, he checked his Scope and just like that he feared his efforts would be for nought. His Scope on that day hinted not too subtly that his love life was about to take a sudden turn and that he might want to rethink his current approach. As this was such a major life event and he is such a good friend, he was straight on the phone to me:
Sabotaged by my Scope! Am I doomed?
After a few minutes of reassurance, this normally rational man calmed down. And at this point I was able to introduce him to a concept that everyone should know about - your Jupiter sign.
All of us know our Sun sign. Whether we're Aries or Pisces, it's a piece of very important information we learn at a very young age. The position of the Sun in the sky at the precise time of our birth reveals our personality and character traits. And to many this is where astrology begins and ends. But like so many other things in life, it's not that simple.
The Sun isn't the only celestial body with influence. In fact, leading astrologers, like Madalyn Aslan, have been saying for a while that the planet Jupiter actually plays a more important role than previously thought. Jupiter is all about growth, expansion and opportunity. In other words, LUCK. And the astrological buzz today is all about your Jupiter sign being your ticket to changing yourself and improving your life.
It works like this. Find out the sign Jupiter was in when you were born and then follow your path to success by acting as if that were your Sun sign. This radical and empowering approach to astrology actually relegates the previously all-important Sun sign to secondary significance. It's now your Jupiter sign that counts!
Of course, this doesn't mean that you go to the extreme of ignoring your Sun sign. But what it does do is give you a very powerful tool for shaping your future. And with my belief in free will and authoring your own fate, I'm a big fan of Jupiter signs.
So was my friend a Caribbean casualty? Absolutely not! We checked the Scope for his Jupiter sign and he was once again able to assume the helm. Chalk up another Jupiter success!
To look up your Jupiter sign and for more information on how it all works, check out Madalyn Aslan's web site or better yet buy her book: Madalyn Aslan's Jupiter Signs.
The moral of this story? Your daily Scope is only part of the picture, important as it is. Don't despair if your best-laid plans seem to be at the mercy of the stars. Instead, check out the Scope for your Jupiter sign. If that still doesn't provide the answer, how about seeking a psychic consultation? If you're not sure that one could help, just email me and ask.
As always, feel free to email me with any comments, suggestions or feedback on PsychicBridges.
Thanks again for all your support and until next week,
Kindest regards,
