In this crazy, mixed-up world, people want clarity!
It’s the ultimate must-have! Is it an iPod? No. Could it be an Xbox or a PS3? You’re getting colder. How about pre-release tickets to Superman Returns? Please. Okay, I’ll just put you out of your misery. No, according to major British newspaper Sunday Express the definitive 2006 lifestyle accessory is having your own psychic!
Psychics — the ultimate must-have!
Years ago it seemed so much easier, so much more straightforward. For example, whenever the Beav or Wally needed guidance all they had to do was turn to Ward for his words of wisdom or to some of June’s cooking to make it all instantly better. Oh, those were the days!
But alas, that was then and this is now. And like it or not, things are different. Families are more spread out. And despite all the promises of email and mobile phones, we are less and less connected to those we used to turn to for support.
We used to turn to our priests, mullahs or rabbis, but today less and less of us frequent the sacred halls of traditional religion. Then it seemed that therapists were all the rage. Yet in this post-Freudian world, it seems that we simply don’t have years of talking to achieve a breakthrough.
To be sure, we live in a right-here, right-now, no-nonsense sort of world, in which the only thing that is certain is uncertainty. There’s the very real threat of terrorism and natural disaster. And even updates regarding dying chickens in countries some of us would be hard pressed to find on maps have us wondering what’s next.
People have questions and they want answers. But what I find very interesting is just where they are going to find them. It seems that it’s no longer the usual places and the usual channels. These days help comes for many in the form of a psychic reading. In 2004 alone, the British spent over $1billion on spiritual goods and services.
And these aren’t just one-time shoppers. They are customers that come back for more. In fact, recent studies have shown that consumers of psychic services come away feeling empowered, confident and better informed. It also helps that seeking guidance through this channel is easy, quick, personal and completely confidential.
It’s not just that consulting a psychic has become cool or mainstream. Rather it’s that people are now going public about consulting psychics and are extolling the contributions that their psychics have made in their lives.
Of course, lauding psychics as the 'lifestyle accessory' must-have for 2006 has the potential to invoke connotations of a fad or flash in the pan. But for those who regularly consult psychics already know, readings are simply another tool in today’s coping arsenal in an increasingly complex world.
If you don’t yet have a personal psychic, this analogy might assist. You wouldn’t dream of driving without car insurance. And to many, including my clients, they wouldn’t dream of making life decisions without the insight and guidance of their psychic. They aren’t trying to be cool or hip. They are simply seeking to make sense of their lives and the world we live in.
If you need answers that have so far eluded you, how about seeking a psychic consultation? If you're not sure that one could help, just email me and ask.
As always, feel free to email me with any comments, suggestions or feedback on PsychicBridges.
Thanks again for all your support and until next week,
Kindest regards,
