Remote Readings - As good as being there!

This past May I took a break from the rural idyll to return to the big city. I decided to spend the month reading for people in my home in London. And while I knew I would be busy, I really wasn’t prepared for just how many of you wanted and needed the guidance of a psychic consultation.

As soon as I made the announcement, readings were booked and appointments made. And even after clearing my schedule further to accommodate more readings, I still couldn’t read for everybody. Some people were even prepared to travel from as far away as Canada and Australia!

London was exhilarating as well as exhausting. And when I returned to Spain, I received email after email from those wanting to know when I would be reading in London again. It was as if they felt that sitting opposite me in the same room was the only way to receive the psychic guidance and intuitive insights that I have to offer.

It’s for those of you who still believe that proximity somehow plays a factor in the quality of the reading that I am writing this today.

This notion that it’s better being there is really something of a myth. I suppose that to some extent it can be traced back to the Auric Theory of psychic phenomena. This is how many of us even today think that it all works.

The Auric Theory states that everything (both animate and inanimate) is surrounded by an energy field, which it is, and that this energy field can be read, which it can be. How many of you have ever had a reading, or seen one on television, in which the psychic takes the client’s hand or holds an object to get an impression? Well, that’s the Auric Theory in action.

The Auric Theory is great and it works. But it would be wrong to conclude that it’s the only basis for clairvoyant connections.

When the US Government declassified information on its own psychic espionage programme (read remote viewing), it was revealed that their psychics were even able to link to their subjects on the over side of the planet – whilst locked in a lead box – in a submarine – sitting at the bottom of the ocean. Now, you can’t get much farther away from being there than that.

For years, no-one could offer a theory as to how remote readings worked. It seemed that we were too attached to the Newtonian view of the world that everything was separate, discrete and inviolate. But recent research has discovered that the Universe isn’t quite that clear cut.

Physicists are now trying to get to grips with the realisation that at the subatomic level matter is not divisible. It only exists and has relevance when taken as a whole. In other words, there’s now scientific evidence to back up the assertion that we are all connected.

From their research, it would seem that everything in the Universe is vibrating and exchanging energy (read information) with everything else. And while this dance may be happening at the quantum level, established scientists around the world are becoming more increasingly convinced that it is nonetheless taking place.

I have to say that I think it’s fantastic when scientists prove what some of us have intuitively understood all along. You see, we are all connected. We are all one in the collective unconscious. And because of this, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of a reading whether you are sitting next to me or are going about your business in Timbuktu.

How remote readings work isn’t really the point. The fact is that they do work.
