Your Psychic Says... by Alan Bridges

Monday 22 December 2008

  Alan Bridges is PsychicBridges
Now is the time to look ahead to 2009!

Here's our topic — let's discuss in Psychic Chat!

As 2008 draws to a close, I have to say that I feel it was a remarkable year. For many, it was one nothing short of “shock and awe”. The world seems to be stuck in a veritable financial quagmire. And no matter how many billions are pumped into the markets, we hear again and again how we are just teetering on the edge of global economic collapse.

But while nearly every headline brings more bad news, the United States appears to be in pretty good spirits. With the election of Barack Obama, hope springs eternal. Change is definitely in the air. They say that you cannot keep a good man down and that seems to be the attitude that so many of my American friends have adopted. You might say that their attitude mirrors the message of that 80’s pop song, “Things can only get better.”

So, the time will soon come for us to say farewell to 2008 and give a warm welcome 2009. But how confident are you about what’s in store for the world as well as for your own personal situation? Will it be one of more of the same? Could it get grimmer? Or are brighter days just around the corner?

I have never been one to stick my head in the sand and let the winds of fate carry me where they will. While I might be someone striving for conscious living, I fully believe that forewarned is forearmed. Moreover, I aim to practise what I preach. And so each year at about this time, I look forward to seeing what I can glean about my own future.

Just as I do for any reading, I begin by cleaning my mind of all that everyday but unnecessary chatter. I then gather and centre myself with the question of what the next twelve months will bring. As soon as the question’s out there, the universe responds with impressions, images, sensations and feelings.

For any of you out there who want to give this a go, the real challenge is trying to make sense of what you’re getting, putting it all into a meaningful order and keeping yourself from being overwhelmed by the deluge of information. I’ll be honest with you in that it takes effort – even when you’ve been doing it for years.

What I end up with is something that I carry along throughout the year. Whereas most readings get filed away, I have found that my Year Ahead Reading to myself becomes quite worn as I move through the months. As I do with all of my clients, I remind myself that the future is not written in stone. And when I see something for myself that I don’t like, I don’t panic but instead I prepare myself to act differently in an effort to produce a different result. With any reading, I believe that its power lies in its ability to empower.

I encourage all of you out there to give yourself a special holiday gift. Give yourself the gift of insight into the year ahead. Do the exercise as I’ve described above and let the information flow as freely as breathing in and out. What you see can only make you stronger.

Of course, not everyone will want to embrace such a roll-up-your-sleeves DIY approach. If you count yourself amongst this group, then perhaps I can help. I have, after all, been giving Year Ahead Readings for years and years now. For many of my clients, this is time when they order their forecasts for the upcoming twelve months. Find out more about how to get one of my Year Ahead Readings.

Whether you read for yourself or get someone like me to read for you, I hope that you will take the time to reach beyond your everyday reality and consciousness to try to perceive something beyond what you can see with your eyes.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone of you for your readership, support and participation with PsychicBridges. I wish you peace, harmony and much, much happiness for the holiday season and for the future!

And this week over at IntuitiveBridges, I look at an amazing experiment in which a blind man navigated a maze using his SIXTH SENSE. Read my article in full here!

As always, feel free to email me with any comments, suggestions or feedback on PsychicBridges. And don’t forget to join me and the rest of the PsychicBridges community in the Psychic Chat forums!

Thanks again for all your support and until next week,

Kindest regards,

Alan
